HIIT routines that involve bodyweight work (e.g. push-ups) or added weight, such as kettlebells, barbells or dumbbells, will fire your muscles while spiking your heart rate.
Here at Old School, we believe that HIIT is most effective first thing in the morning or later in the evening. That's why we run sessions at 0600 and 0630 as well as 2000 and 2030.
